About Me
I have been creating specialty wedding cakes for presentation within the Kansas City
area for over 20 years. While my expertise covers a complete range of designs and
preparation medians, I am passionate in being receptive to each bride and her
selection of the focal point of her reception. |
The Tasting
To that end, an initial tasting will be arranged with the bride and her party during
which time discussions will be held regarding the reception location and specific
schedule, number of guests, and most importantly, the considerations for the cake
presentation. While the final design may be based entirely on an available photo or
the suggestions of the bride, I will make available a large array of my previous
creations for your consideration. A sample cake will be prepared for the bride to
allow her and her party the opportunity to taste the final product. |
Final Preparation
Between the final booking date and the event, it is understood changes in the number
of guests or the actual detailed design may be desired. Such changes will be welcomed
and incorporated assuming the prior notice is adequate. I will coordinate with the
selected florist and reception hall, or the wedding coordinator if appropriate, to
ensure the cake is delivered in a timely fashion. My responsibility includes the
delivery and set-up of the cake, thus maintaining a complete product from planning
to presentation. |
