Hi Pam! Thanks so much for the sweet comment! The Pastry Diaries was definitely unfiltered and uncensored. It was cathartic to document it all every week. I’m still exhausted when I think back to it!

I love to read your blog, you are so funny! Your writing is so real and honest about what you are dealing with. I hope aspiring chefs, bakers etc. will happen on to your blog and find it inspiring to go to school for what they love. The realness in which you write, will give them insight into what culinary school will be like and know that everything doesn’t go perfectly- but you just have to learn for the experience and move on! These are great lessons!

I also love how you have found ways to tweak recipes to improve them, ex. Coconut Cake. Thank you for sharing the recipes, your student life and the laughs!
