Hi Katie! I worry that 3/4 cup of espresso would be too strong flavour wise. For best results I’d use hot coffee.

This is my go to chocolate cake as it’sabsolutelydelicious. I made a sheet cake from this recipe but the middle of it rose high, like a dome and the edge of the cake was a little dry. What did I do wrong? Does this happen with all sheet cakes? Thank you. 🙂
