Hi Nicole! Adding more white chocolate would change the texture and structure. You’d need to make other adjustments as well to balance it.

I liked the cake, but wanted to add Even More white chocolate to the cake batter itself. I was curious if you have tried this. Thanks 😊

Hi Rain! Converting pan sizes is always tricky. Here are some sites I use as a guideline:
http://www.joyofbaking.com/PanSizes.html
https://www.cookipedia.co.uk/recipes_wiki/Cake_tin_conversion_charts
You can also make the recipe as is if you dont mind thinner layers. You’ll have to reduce the baking time though.

Hi Grace! I usually recommend 2/3 to 3/4 full depending on if you want a dome or not. Start checking them at 15mins or so.

Hi Felicity! Yes, you still need to heat them to cook the whites and dissolve the sugar.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful recipes.
Can I ask a question…
If I am using pasteurised egg whites for the Swiss meringue buttercream do I still need to heat them over simmering water? Or can I just whip?

Hi Inés! Your English is perfect 🙂 The cake will be fine in the fridge for 2-3 days. After that it will start to dry out a bit. The ganache keeps for a long time!
