Hi Rachel! How about using the cranberry sauce as a filling instead? I haven’t tried swirling it into the cake batter so I can’t say for sure how that will turn out.

However, I can find plenty of canned cranberry sauce, both the jellied kind and the kind containing whole berries. Do you think it would work to either swirl the jellied cranberry sauce through the cake batter or drop the type containing whole berries throughout the batter? Thanks.

Hi Lauren! For sure. How long to bake is hard to say as every oven varies and size of pans varies too. In my experience Bundts usually take anywhere from 50mins to 1h15mins. Start checking it at 50mins and see.

Hi Elizabeth! Did you bake it in three 8″ pans as per the recipe? If so then the layers should only be about 1″ tall. I talk about this in the post.

UGH! I’m sure it will taste great but the layers did not rise! I followed the recipe exactly, my baking powder is good until 6/2026. Suggestions?

Hi Jenny! Generally I think you fill the wrappers about 2/3 full.

Hi Jess! The frosted cake will be fine in the fridge for 2-3 days. After that it will start to dry out.

I made this cake last year and it was the biggest hit! We aren’t doing our Thanksgiving until tomorrow so I would like to make it again but I am short on time. I saw that you can do cupcakes instead-which is great-but I have one question: how much should I fill them?

If yes, do you recommend covering it somehow or just leaving it naked? Hope that made sense!
