My daughter in law’s sister made some of these cookies for me a few weeks ago and I thought they were fabulous and asked her for the recipe. I have a large gathering coming up in a few days and decided to serve cookies for dessert. Several family members are gluten free and so I decided to experiment and see how your recipe works with gf flour. I substituted the flour with Bob’s Red Mill 1:1 Baking Flour and that was the only change I made. The cookies came out great – a little flatter than the original version, but still so good. I just LOVE the flavor and texture of the caramelized apples! I know I will be making both versions again! What a wonderful recipe! Thank you!💗
