Mine turned out grainy when I did sugar, egg whites and cream of tartar to 160. Sugar didn’t dissolve. Remade-dissolved sugar and egg whites then added cream of tartar all worked out.. has this happened to you before?

I noticed this recipe is for 5 servings, I noticed I can change the serving size but not sure what the appropriate serving size would be for 1 cake?

wow! so easy and quick. using the mixer to double boil the frosting game changer. I put peppermint in mine. it's for a birthday cake with pink peppermint frosting and a chocolate ganache. mwah! chef's kiss.

This was so easy and delicious! Everyone loved it. I was VERY intimidated and worried about messing this up, but having made the recipe successfully the first time, I highly recommend it! Note – I have a stand mixer, which made it so easy to mix for 5 minutes.
